Dawgs sign RHP Kyle Palmer

Calgary Dawgs Baseball Club is pleased to announce the signing of RHP Kyle Palmer for the 2005 summer college baseball season. Palmer is a 6’5”, 210 lb. right hand pitcher who hails from Brampton, Ontario and has had an outstanding freshman year pitching for Graceland University in Lamani, Iowa. Graceland competes in the Heart of America Conference of the NAIA and is fighting to earn a berth in the NAIA World Series at Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. Palmer features a fastball in the high 80s and currently leads the Yellowjackets in ERA at 2.84. He also has a 2-0 won/loss record with 18 strike outs in 19 innings pitched.
